The Department of Materials Engineering organized a scientific lecture titled "Materials Engineering Tests and Avoiding sudden failure and collapse of materials." The lecture took place on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 10:00 AM in Room 6, Building B courtyard.

The lecture has presented by lecture Hashem Shareef Ni'ma, with present the Head of the Department, Dr. Jawad Kazem Aliwi, and several students of the department.

The lecture targeted fourth stage students on purpose of providing a clear view­­ about opportunities of   specializing in the field of engineering tests and obtaining scientific examination levels (Levels 1, 2, and 3), as well as training in welding inspections for a post-graduation students.

Furthermore, the lecture illustrates the collaboration with various government institutions for training both students and graduates.

At the end of the lecture, the Head of the Department praised the lecturer's outstanding efforts and honored him with a certificate of appreciation.
